Tire opinion

First let me appologize since this is for a pontiac !

My wifes 02 TA-ws6 needs tires, 22,000 miles and she managed 2 punctures right on the edge of the tire, and a nice big gouge on the side wall of the 3rd.

Oh and of course i just sent in the last payment of my 0% for 60 lol..

the car has 275 40 17 eagle f1 GS on it now, best ive found is around $267 a peice. IM putting 4 new tires on since i need 3 anyhow.

I been looking around and as much as a like the performance of the goodyear tires, I can certainly find cheeper tires.

Any opinions on the Kuhmo tires? I found this for less then half the price.

She rarely drives this thing, 22k miles in 5 years. And the only one that drives this car aggressivly is me.

Re: Tire opinion

My experience with tires lately on my daily driver has been they will ozone crack way before the mileage rating hits. I have 75K on a 1999 Isuzu Amigo and I'm on my 3rd set of boots. Not to get political, but with global warming being what it is, the sidewall on tires will tend to crack after a few years.
