18 inch rims

I picked up a set of 18x9 for the back and 18x8 for the front of boyd coddington magnettos for my 67 camaro. I have 4 wheel disc. the bs for the rear is 7 and the bs for the front is 6.125. We put them on my brothers 67 and they fit good. will i have a problem with mine? I know all cars are diff. thanks dave

Re: 18 inch rims

Those BS's sound pretty extreme and I don't think they will work. are you sure of those measurements? The fronts should be more like 4.75 and the rears should be 5.

That's about where they should be if you were ordering them. The usual range in the front on a 8" wheel is 4.75 to 5.12 and in the rear on a 9" wheel 5 to 5.5. Those high numbers are not ideal but they will work in most cases. The bottom line is what you have appears to be too deep and even if they do work will look very "tucked in" under the fenders.
