Pics of a BF Goodrich P??/60/R15 tires on 15x7

I'm still confused on what tires to get for my 15x7 FW rims. Does anyone have some picture's they can post of the following tire sizes:

1. BF Goodrich P225/60/R15 tires on 15x7 FW rims
2. BF Goodrich P235/60/R15 tires on 15x7 FW rims
3. BF Goodrich P245/60/R15 tires on 15x7 FW rims

I was planning on 225s or 235s on front and 245s on back, will this combo work or would it be safe to go with 225s front & 235s rear? It would be nice to see pics from the back as I'm concerned about the tire bulging too much. Thanks for any help!

Clint

Sorry I don't have pic's, but I would go with 235's in front and 245's in rear....
or even 255's in rear.

These are 225/60/15 and 245/60/15 on 15x7 rally wheels - not FW code, though, I think these are the monte carlo code from the mid 70's.

This is on a '68 with Hotchkis suspension, the 225/60's might look a little small at a stock ride height.

Clint,

I like 225 X 60 x 15" front and rear the best!

Re: Pics of a BF Goodrich P??/60/R15 tires on 15x7

Just installed these. Previous tires were almost brand new but I was tired of the front wheels rubbing the wheel well on turns, they were 235's in the front.

I just changed my 235-60s to 225-60s on front. Mine also rubbed. Havent driven it yet . Now I have 225-60 -15 front and 245-60-15 on rear of my 67 RS with FW rally wheels/ 4 1/4 backspacing.

Re: Pics of a BF Goodrich P??/60/R15 tires on 15x7

Here is a 235 on the front and a 255 on the back with 15x7 rims. I still have to lower the back end though. I am still going to experiment with 15x8 on the back for a beefier look. The front rubs in tight corners on the frame but I was told that when I convert to disc brakes it will push the tire out a little to compensate that problem.

Re: Pics of a BF Goodrich P??/60/R15 tires on 15x7

I was thinking of putting BFG T/A 235 x 60 x15 on my 15 x 7 Rally wheels on the front of my 69 Camaro, with stock suspension. Will they rub the front fenders during turns?

Don't know about fenders but probably rub the frame on tight turns. Mine do. (Drum brakes)

Re: Pics of a BF Goodrich P??/60/R15 tires on 15x7

I ran F60/15 BFG's on 15x8 Corvette rallyes for awhile back in the '70's, and had some scrubbing both on the inside and at the wheel lip on hard turns, especially if the front end was moving up/down due to bumps. I installed rounded head cap screws in the front fender lips, but even with that I eventually reinstalled the original 15x7 wheels and F70/15's.
