Anyone running Vintage V40's this combo

I've been interested in this wheel and the package price on E-bay with Nitto tires is better then I can do locally. They ad states the tire wheel combo will go on 1st gen Camaros that are stock hieght and even lowered cars. The combo they advertise is:

Vintage Wheel Works V40

17x8 front, and 17x9.5 rear, custom two piece

for 1967-1969 Camaros

NITTO Z Rated Tires

235/45/17 and 275/40/17 NT555

I'm concerned the 8" wide on front may be too much, If someone has bought this combo and has it on a 67 or 68 I would like to know what you think and see pics if possible.

Thanks,

Jeff

It's not the sizes that are in question. It's the BACKSPACE. Those wheel widths and tire sizes will work. The front backspace needs to be 4.75" and the rear needs to be 5.5".

Just a thought.........there are several vendors who either support or frequent this forum before you spend your money on ebay why not get prices from them? Plus they can help you with fitment issues if need be.

Yes,no problem...but that to me,is an pretty skinny wheel on the back of these cars which severely limits tire size.
A 17x9.5 (5.5" b/s) with a 275/40 tire should fill up that wheelwell nicely...
