Will this combo work on a 69 coupe with standard suspension?

What do you mean by "work"? It will fit, but you may need stiffer rear springs to prevent rear tire rub. I'm running 235/60/15 on 15x7 at all four corners with no rubbing issues. The 15x8 (Corvette) rally wheels have a different offset that can make many tires rub.

15x8 Corvette rally wheels have A 4" back spacing,
They will rub with any reasonable sized tire, unless you like the jacked look in the rear I would get correct back spacing.

Steve, from 225x60x15 on stock ralley wheels , I worked up to 235 and 245 , they did clear but 245 seem to touch headlamp motor cover bucket sheild on a bump steer. Things got better when I went to a 245x50x16 on a custom wheel.

Murry...

My 15x8 rims are 4 1/2 " backspace. I run them on a 68 and with 225X15 fronts and 255X15 rears get slight rubs. A 69 has a wider wheel opening and should be fine...

I have AZ coded on rear 15x8,4" backspacing.
15x8 with 4 1/2 backspacing are the way to go

Steve...

AZ is a 15x8 wheel however you need to follow the diagram below to get what backspave you may have.

i ran 15x8..245/60r15 goodyear eagle st tires for along time..front would lightly rub if making very hard u-turn..otherwise no problem...
