Lug Torque Question

Hey I have a '68 Camaro with a swapped-in 8.5" 10-bolt rear end. It has wilwood disc brakes front and rear and I've upgraded the wheel studs to 1/2". I have weld draglite-90 wheels. Approximately what should I torque the wheels to?

Thanks,
Matt

Re: Lug Torque Question

dont know exactly, but I would think 100 ft/ibs, maybe 110 would be enough...you dont want to pull threads by over torque.

Weld recomends 65 foot pounds.

Double check their site... as that is whats call for on on my Prostars.

Re: Lug Torque Question

85 with 1/2" studs...
65 with stockers.

Note I have wilwoods on all 4 and an 8.5" in the back, asked this question myself a couple years ago.
