Question What are you guys doing for 50-series 15" tires?

My old-school buddies with their cracked 20+ yr old Radial T/A's are asking....
Looking for something reasonably priced, not Coker re-popped T/A's.

Any suggestions are welcome...looking for 265 & 275/50's in particular.

I looked for something similar for a while, the radial TA's have some 15" sizes as do the new MT Sportsman S/T's, but other than sizes I couldn't find much info on them.

Some videos I'v made for youtube

275/50/R15 BFGs on the rears on the street. They were tough to get at the time (about 4 years ago), haven't tried to buy any since. I think they're only rated for 114mph or so, but they won't come apart at 150 (allegedly )

A 265/50-15 search there turns up no tires and a 275/50-15 search only turns up a BFG g-force drag radial @ $165/ea and a Hoosier R6 @ $253/ea.

I have a pair of BFG 265/50/15 tires I want to get rid of. I bought them back in late '03 and only put a few hundred miles on them. They've just been sitting in the garage.

Nope,certain...we're talking old-school here.
Everyone I know locally still run 265/50-15's,275/50-15's and 295/50-15's...on 7" wide wheels...old-school buldge,lol.
I just sold my old 15x7" AR 200S wheels to a buddy along with 265 & 275/50-15's and now everyone is looking for replacements.

Here's some examples,this is a 265/50 & 295/50 combo w/AR 200S wheels on the Blue Boss 302:

I've got some D.O.T legal BFG R1's brand new in a 265-50-15. No white letters and sticky. I have 4 of them to sell pretty cheap. Probably not what those guys want though.

David

Check my web page for First Gen Camaro suspension info:

I checked and Mickey Thompson makes the Sportsman S/R ($186) but the smallest size is 26.00x10-15 which I'll assume is close to a 295/50-15 but no smaller sizes for the fronts.Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 is only offered in a 295/50-15 ($119)...the only 50-series size they offer so again...no fronts!

I heard Cooper has better selection but I'm beginning to wonder if we're just outta luck.
