ARE WIRE WHEEL COVERS A THING OF THE PAST? i THINK THEY ARE STILL COOL.

Depends if they came with the car. Cool if they did, not so on the newer rides.

Unfortunately, yes. And i think cadillac and oldsmobile had some of the best from 81-86 ish.
