What diameter front tire looks good on a lowered 69 camaro?

I have been looking at pictures of 69 camaros for days now. In your opinion, what overall tire diameter looks too big or too small in the 69 camaro front wheelwell on a lowered car?
thanks

Re: What diameter front tire looks good on a lowered 69 camaro?

I've run 245/45-17's (25.68" tall) on this car as well as the current 245/40-18's (25.71" tall) and my car is slammed low...22.75" from center of front wheelwell to the ground w/o issues.Either of these two tires on a 8" wide wheel (4.75" or 4.875" b/s) I'd say is ideal.

Nice looking cars guys! I guess 25 1/2 to 26ish fills out the wells great. What do you guys think is too small?

Re: What diameter front tire looks good on a lowered 69 camaro?

As stated above I would try to get as close to 26" tall as possible. I will also say that even though it's only and 1" shorter anything under 25" starts to look really short unless the car is slammed on the ground.

26 is right on the money. I personally like a 27" tire on the back of a 69.

Very nice! those must be 18's or 19's up front to get a 26" tall tire. What size are they?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Here's 25.5" tall tires on the front with 26.1" in the back...
235/45x17 and 255/45x17
I ran 15" rallys with a 215/60x15 (25.2) and 245/60x15 (26.6) with the same suspension for a short while and it looked fine, sorry no pic of them.
Thanks Todd - so mini tubs in the rear, how about the front? Your car's stance reminds me of "The Mule"
