Rally Rims

These are for sale for $175. Is that a good price? Are they really rally rims? I know they are missing the center caps, are they pretty easy to locate?

Re: Rally Rims

Get the two letter code off the wheels just to the right of the valve sterm hole, that will tell you what the wheels are.

Re: Rally Rims

If they are not bent or used up thats not a bad price. New ones (repros) are about $70+ each.

Re: Rally Rims

Before you lay down the $175, take them to your local tire store and have them spun up to check the run-out.

I'm guessing half the used rally wheels floating around for sale, are bent. If they're ll straight with little rust pitting, $175 is a great price.

Also, the rally wheel repos are not hub-centric (or didn't used to be) so good originals are preferable.

Good luck!

Re: Rally Rims

Rims are stamped steel and were originally painted Argent silver. Doubt you could polish them up and make them look good. They need to be blasted and repainted. Black on the rear half, silver on the out side.
