Front tire size 69 model

Can I use a 235x60x15 tire mounted on a 15x7 rally rim on the front of my 69 Z with factory suspension? Thanks!

The tire easily fits the wheel. That won't be a problem.

Not sure on the clearances on the vehicle with this size but my guess is that it won't be a problem. Verify for sure.

For what it's worth as I am NOT a tire/wheel expert...I got wheels and tires just last week and wanted the 235 tire on a 7 inch wheel. I was told that even most shops will put a 235 on a 7 inch wheel, they prefer 8 inch wheel for that tire. I got talked into a 225 tires instead.

Re: Front tire size 69 model

I ran this setup for a while on my '69, which is lowered a bit (1-2" or so?).
Had some light tyre rub on the frame at full lock but no major issues.

A 225 tire is 10 millimeters less than a 235 tire. 10 millimeters is 1 cm or 0.4 inches. So if a 225 tire is "tiny" then that makes a 235 tire a tiny bit bigger than a 225 tire.
