Red Lined Tires??? (Butternut Convertible)...or should I modify?

I am getting a Butternut Convertible SS....may go for a more stock look....Red Lined tires were big back then...where should I go to get them?

Conversely, should I modify my Butternut??

I bought mine for the Firebird from Diamondback. They give you a choice of radials. Good people to buy from. See a picture in my signature.

Do you have #'s matching...if so, why mod? I've got 2 ply, thin white striped rubber...with same car as yours and get a lot of fav comments at meets...so red would look OK, too. IMO

if you do alot of cruising...i would say get redline radils ...i think coker tire has them... you just cannot beat the ride and handling of the radial tires...
