Do you hate your 15" tires?

I found a buyer for my current wheels (18" & 20" Boyd Smoothies).

I really want the 15" Mini Lite wheels that Team 3 makes. I can fit a 15x10 in the rear and a 15x7 up front on my car.

I think I can do a 275 in back and a 225 up front. Just need to get the right aspect ratio to fit the rear. Maybe a 275/50 will work. On tire rack, my only option is a BFG drag radial.

I don't abuse the car on the streets...I'm a safe driver, but do want good handling on the roads. I'm moving to North Carolina in a couple weeks, so there are nice twisty roads up there to enjoy the car on (unlike the flat straight roads down here in south Florida).

I know that tire selection is better with 17's and the Team 3 mini-lites in 17's don't look bad...but I really like the 15" vintage racer look.

Do you hate your 15's from a performance handling standpoint?

Will I be sacrificing handling to get the look I want?

I like mine on 15's...I've never really thought about anything bigger. I suppose if there was an advantage to bigger wheels that I wanted to have maybe then I would?

I like my 15" Crager SS wheels from a handling and ride comfort perspective.

Ah someone else transplanting to NC. Which area? Some cheap ole Uniques at Discount tire work just fine too.

Re: Do you hate your 15" tires?

I'm not worried about the wheels....really more concerned with the performance of the tires. Am I making an issue out of nothing?

Moving to Summerfield (just north of Greensboro).

Ummm, I dunno? Is wheel/tire size important to you, if so then you need to make the decision that makes you feel comfortable.

Performance wise, from my perspective and how I use my car, it's a non issue.
