Summit rims

Anyone buy Summit rims before?

I was talking to a local shop here, I am looking for the Centerline looking rim that is considered 'classic' now. American racing also has them but not polished. I think American racing calls them auto drag I.

Summit has a line of them too, not sure what they call them though but they look EXACTLY like the centerlines. They are polished and look good on the picture. Not sure if whats in the picture is what you get though.

So I talk to a shop here and he wants 230 a rim for the Centerline and the non polished American racing ones he wants 128 for. But he says the Summit ones he can't get and he trashed them, he said they're factory flaws that Summit sells for themselves.

So I ask....
Anyone bought any Summit rims?
If so, were you happy? Unhappy?

Re: Summit rims

So I guess I didn't read carefully enough, the Summit rims don't come in the back space I needed.

The tire shop guy around here suggested I go with American racing rims. The Outlaw I style and have them polished real well. I guess there are shops that do that?

Anyone have these American racing brand of rims?
