rim size

Basic question. I have a flat (rear tire). My tires are 245/15 60's on back and 235/15 60's on front. What rim width do these correspond to??? Are they the same front and back?? Its kind of hard to measure the rim width with the tire on.

Re: rim size

Never mind. I found the tires fit different ranges of rims. I was hoping to but the fronts on the rear and put smallers on the front. I'll work it out.

Re: rim size

You can put the 235/60/15's on the back. If all 4 of your wheels are the same size just swap them and have new mounted on the ones with 245's on them... Since you are not trying to put really wide tires on your car I would run 235/60's front and back. It makes for rotation ease and is probably the most common size used on 1st gens...

Re: rim size

I'm actually trying to downsize the front tires to keep them from rubbing. I'm thinking about 215's or 225's on front.
