Re: Need Help figuring the size of the wheels in the pic!!

Well,I'll take a stab at it....the front fender lip stock on my 67,probably close on this 69,is 25" or so off the gound. This car looks like it has a hotchkis kit on it so lower that by 1 1/2-2 inches or so and you're around 23 inches. The tire sidewall profile looks about 3 inches off the rim, counting top and bottom thats 6 inches total SO ....25 inches stock lip minus 2 inches lowered, minus 6 inches of tire = 17" rims....and thats what it looks like to me just by looking at the pic, thats my guess

Hi Pat, and thanks for the fast respond

I had the same thoughts regarding the wheel size and I think it is 17" but what about the width of the wheels is it 7" in the front and 8" in the rear wheels? cuz that is what it appear to me, but I'm still not sure

I can tell you that the wheel in relation to the wheelwell makes me believe those are 17"...that and the amount of sidewall.

If I had to guess,I'd say 8's & 9's.

Look like Coys or MB Old School rims. See this post. Im saving up for these wheels now, a couple hundred more and I should be ordering. Unless something better crosses my eye.

Are they American Racing's Vintage T70R ?

I have a mate who wants a set too.
I noticed they're for sale through Tirerack.com.
