275's with 5.5" bs

Will a 15x8 Prostar with 5.5"bs fit on a stock rear and tubs with 275 Mickey Drag radials on my 68??

Probably gunna rub on the inner wheel well. My 275/60/15 BFGs on 8 inch TT IIs come real close with 4.5 BS

I agree with Casey. But the good news is that it could be an easy fix by using a spacer. You can always bring the weel out but not in.

Let me explain...
If you measure your wheel well from the brake drum face you should have about 5" to the wheel well lip and 6" to the inner wheel well. 5.5" would leave only .5" and no room for tire bulge.

I thought it would be to close. My 8's with the 4.5"bs fit with plenty of room.
