Re: Red lines

Diamond Back might be able to help. Here's a link to their 18" redlines:

Re: Red lines

I surfed around a little bit and found this article about Diamond Back:

http://blogs.popularhotrodding.com/6...res/index.html

That article gives me the impression that DB can add a redline to more tires than the ones listed in their catalog. It might be worth a call to see if they can make a custom set for you.

I also stumbled across a company called "Custom Tire" that performs "Tire Tattoos" . . . Basically they cut a groove into the sidewall and add some sort of red rubber compound into that groove. Here's a link about their process:

http://www.moparmusclemagazine.com/t...oos/index.html

I'd like to see their results in person. I'm not convinced that a hand-applied redline stripe would look appealing in person, but it might be worth checking in with them if you can't find anything better.

Beyond those two options, I'm all out of ideas. Anybody else?

Re: Red lines

hey guys, here's the scoop. i spoke to Diamond Back tires today. They can do any tire size. you just have to give them a call and tell 'em what you want. i didnt have a chance to get into the actual process as i had to get to work, so that might be something to discuss with them. the price per tire is a little pricey at around 280 bucks, but if you want them its possible. hope that helps.
