Can you add redlines to a tire?

I know this sounds kind of hack but it's a serious question...Is there any convincing way to add red lines onto the blackwall side of a BFG Radial T/A? Such as stencil and painting them on or ?

We have a small company in NZ...they come to your home...sort of lath off a thin bit of the sidewall and layer in what ever one wants....a lot of vintage and 'rod guys do it for their white walls.
We have real strict safety rules , what one can and cant do...and this passes the stds.

My Spelling is not incorrect...it is creative

It would probably be cheaper just to buy new tires. I imagine the house call charge from New Zealand would be quite expensive......

Well, evidently you can do it on Mopars. I can't see where they list the contact info for this outfit in the article, though.

Re: Can you add redlines to a tire?

Diamond Back can add red lines to any tire you are looking for. The thing about it is, you have to buy new tires from them and they add the red lines. I was informed that they do this because each tire is checked after the process is complete and sometimes they are rejected because of imperfections. Because of this, they will not except preowned tires to be red lined.

Re: Can you add redlines to a tire?

Tom, the good thing about my guy is, he will add red lines to your exsisting tires..as long as you have the smooth sidewall where the redline will be added!..no problems at all..
