67 rally wheel size??

I am looking to buy a new set of rally wheels whats on my mind is fronts 15x7-4.5 bs 215 65r15, rears 15x8-4.5 bs 255 60r 15. Will I have a rubbing problem or can I go with something a little larger? The suspension is all stock-sbc. The tires I would like would be the BF Goodrich radial TA's. Any pictures of this setup out there?

I don't see any issues. That is a common setup and your sizes are good!! You should be happy!!

Re: 67 rally wheel size??

I have 15x7 front and rear with 4.5 backspacing and 235 front and 255 rear. The front will rub a little bit at full lock with drums on front. 4.5 backspacing tucks the wheels in a little further if you have drum brakes. 4.5 is perfect for disc brakes, probably no rubbing with the 235 on front. I haven`t tried it yet, but hopefully will soon.

Re: 67 rally wheel size??

I have 15x7's and Wide Oval tires and I have a slight rubbing problem when I crank the wheel to the right. Very slight but noticeable.

Have the same wheels on a 68 w/215-60-15 front and 245-60-15 rear and have no rubbing issues, the front is even lowered @ 1 1/2".
