Looking at a set of TTII's from a LS1 car.

Will they work on a 4 wheel drum car? I am currently running back rims off of my LS1 with a 1" adapter. The welds are 15" and the TT are 17" Here are my questions. tires are 275 40 17 on the TT. I am currently running 275 60 15 on the rear. I am also running air shocks in the rear and they are barely rubbing them with my current tires. Will they work on the front? Or will I have to buy another set of 1" adapters for the front? TIA Trey

Should I also mention that I am also considering a set of 01-04 Z06 wheels. How can I make them work with out mini tubbing my car?

Edit: Are you talking about 275's on the front? Don't think they'll work no matter what you do.

Rears: This is based on my '69 so a '67 may be different. You'll need about 5.5" of backspacing. Just cut a piece of stiff cardboard or board so that it'll lay across the back edge of the rim, not the tire. Measure from the rear of the wheel hub to the bottom edge of the board to see what backspacing they are. If more than 5.5", just do the math to figure out the spacer you need. If it is less than 5.5" then they may stick out too far.

The TT are 5.5 But he has offered me a set of black Z06 wheels, and thats what I really want. He is supposed to get me the back spacing.

bump will 4.75 all the way around fit the car? 275 40 17 on the rear, and I will get a different set of tires for the fronts. most likely 245 40 17 will this work. The guy is coming sunday, but I need to know by tomorrow.

Man, you are all messed up. Ideally, you need a 17x8 front with about a4.75" backspace and a 245 wide tire, and in the rear, a 9 to 9.5" wheel with a 275/ wide tire and about a 5.5" backspace. Anything else will require adapters, and if any wider front or rear, forget about it in a stock wheel tub.
