2010 camaro wheels on 68will it work

i have a set of 2010 wheels i can get for my 68 and dont know if they fit im sure im not the first to think about it any help to save me will be great

The 2010 wheels will have the wrong back spacing (too much) and I believe the bolt pattern is slightly off...

Exactly right. The 2010 comes 5x120 bolt pattern, and while that is "close" to a 5x4.75, its not exact. Also, the 2010 wheel swill have way too much backpace, so you would have to run adapters to get them even close to working, but the stock wheels are pretty wide for a first gen. I wouldn't even bother with it, by the time you got them to work, you would have spent enough time and money that you could have put into a set of wheels that fit right out of the box.
