what is the correct back-spacing?

I have a '67 Camaro, 15X7 rally wheels all the way around...
I run BF Goodrich 255/60/R15 on the rear, and from the looks of the tires, they may be slightly rubbing the shock mounts from time to time.

I can likely fix te issue with a small spacer, but was wondering what teh corrcet backspacing of the wheels is "supposed: to be.

I don't know if it makes a difference, ut I am running multi-leaf as well.

With the 255/60R15's you need a 4.5 in bs... I run 7's 3.5 bs with a 255 but mine is a 69 with multi leafs... they bulge out a bit but they don't rub, but they are close.

69 Camaro Finally restored. New 496, 700R4, 3200 stall, 3.90 12 bolt posi

Re: what is the correct back-spacing?

Thanks...Now I just have to measure what's on the car...wheel shave been on there for years--ran spacers for a while. Took them off a couple of years ago, but am just starting to see some wear marrs consistent with rubbing the shock mount...
