15" Cragar SS

I'm thinkig or going with Cragar SS's 15x8's with 275/60 or should I go with 15x10's on the rear of my 69 and was wondering of there is anybody here that has the same set that can post some picture's so I can see what they look like on, most of the past post that I have looked at it seams that a lot of you are going with the 17", and I like the traditional look, like when I grow up in the 60's and 70's Thank's

Re: 15" Cragar SS

The 10's are probably too wide for the car, unless you are going to jack it up in the rear like we did in the 60's and 70's. 7" front w/ 4" back space and 8" rear with 4-3/4" back space fit really well with 225 or 235 wide tires in the front and 255 wide in the rear. That's my set up, but with Torque Thrust II 16" wheels, and everything fits well.

Ditto to what Andrew said.

Try to get chrome-plated aluminum instead of steel as the steel wheels will eventually rust.

Re: 15" Cragar SS

I've had them before on my 46 pickup and my 66 Mustane and they hold up pretty good the only thing is to keep them polished, the only thing with chromed alum. is that they blister and peel, I am also looking at a set of polished alum clear coated made buy Rocket, has anybody know anything about them
