Wheel Vintiques Customer Service

Im getting the run around from wheel vintiques on a 17 rally wheel I returned because its not true. I wish I would have taken my business somewhere else it's so bad. Anyone else run into this problem or am I just having bad luck with these guys.

Re: Wheel Vintiques Customer Service

Looks like I'm in the same boat. They've tested and admit the wheel wobbles. They're trying to tell me that's normal for a 17" wheel. I said I either want a true wheel or a refund. They said it's up to the owner. When I asked to speak with the owner I was shut down and told he works in the shop that he pays them to deal with this stuff. I've never worked with such poor customer service in my life. They've had the wheel since Monday and still cant tell me anything but yes, it wobbles. What a joke.

Re: Wheel Vintiques Customer Service

Sounds like they have the wheel? Pay by Credit Card? If so just tell them you want a good wheel or you will cancel the transaction with the CC company. You should be able to get a wheel that doesn't wobble and is true, otherwise no point in paying out good money.

Re: Wheel Vintiques Customer Service

This is very upsetting to hear, as I planned on purchasing some wheels from them soon. I was only going with them because they were the only place I could find what I was looking for. Guess I'll have to come up with another game plan!

After talking to them I felt the same way. So I did not buy direct. I went through Jegs.com.
They were so nice to work with. Had no problems with the wheels. Jegs offers 100% satisfaction.

Re: Wheel Vintiques Customer Service

Doug, funny you should mention that. When I called and talked to them they suggested that I order through Summit since it would be free shipping. I guess I could do that, but do I really want to take the chance that my wheels are right the first time?

Re: Wheel Vintiques Customer Service

Sorry to hear that Greg. Sounds like a company to stay away from. Some of their wheels look pretty nice, too bad the owner is such short-sighted.

Re: Wheel Vintiques Customer Service

I have to say I'm happy with the actual wheels. They're awesome, no question about it. The service on the returned wheel was my problem. A week going by after admitting the wheel had a wobble without telling me a resolution and even saying they may just send me the wobble wheel back is poor service and very frustrating. The wheels are pretty sweet though and exactly what I was looking for. The powder coat was done right and the beauty rings and center caps look great. Ill give them a second chance if the new wheel is true.
