Re: These are kind of cool

Obviously talking about the shield behind the wheel. They look like they are decent quality and and to me not cheesy like all others.

Re: These are kind of cool

Well, I'm probably crazy but it looks like a disc brake rotor from a Harley motorcycle. Notice the drill pattern is directional. Go to this sight and look at the brake rotors in their catalog and you will see what I mean.

Re: These are kind of cool

There are lots of drum covers being made to hide drum brakes when using open spoke wheels. Every time I have seen posts about them they don't seem to be very popular.

I don't think it's a real rotor, motorcycle or not, looking at the drilled holes gives it away that it's just a thin cover...

Re: These are kind of cool

On this car he used them on the front too even though the car has disc brakes. I think of all I have seen they look pretty cool.

Found these on Amazon, but it says "currently unavailable", looks like they are made by APC parts...

Re: These are kind of cool

Its a muscle car, should not have anything fake. I say rock the drum brakes proud!! Bust out the high temp caliper paint and flat black those old rusty drums and leave it at that.

Re: These are kind of cool

They look like your caliper is missing... Don't spend a cent on anything related to drum brakes. Make the jump to discs and you will not regret it!
