69 camaro - TSW wheels?

TSW makes a couple of wheels I was thinking of putting on my 69 camaro. However, even though the bolt pattern matches the TSW rep says they will not work on my car. Is there something I'm missing or is he solely going off the numbers in the nicely printed booklet which do not include specs for my car? The car has disk brakes on the front which seem to make the wheel width wider on the front that it was with drum brakes. Other than that everything else should be stock fit. Out of curiosity, will the 9.5" in the rear be a problem or should I go a little narrower?

Front: 17x8
Rear: 18x9.5

TSW - Jarma

TSW - Indy

Re: 69 camaro - TSW wheels?

When I was looking for wheels for my Camaro, I liked some of the wheels made for the later makes of cars, the problem I ran into was the offset of the wheels, too much backspacing.

do a search on bmw fitments. I know a number of people have done it. Bolt pattern is not exact, but is close enough for some to work
