Has anyone tried putting on the Foose rims on their 1st Gens ? I am wondering what you guys think about these and if anyone had any experience with them ?

Looks like the 15" Nitrous RT. You should not have any issues with that wheel on your first gen. The 15x7 has 4"bs and the 15x8 is offered with 4.5"bs, should work well. They are very affordable too....

Strangely the guy selling them on Ebay told me that 15x8 is too big for my stock 68 Camaro. I was running 15x8's. They did rub over bumps, but i thought it was due to bumps on the road or when i punched it too fast. I have disk brakes in the front, so i have to have 15x8's ? Now i am worried something might not be correct. I really like these, maybe if i add low profile tires they might fit ?

15x8's should fit no issues,if you had rubbing issues it was probably due to the wrong backspace...if they're 4"-4.5",that may not be enough...where did they rub?

Re: Foose rims ?

Those offer a classic look you cant really go wrong with.

I'd go with 17's for the following reasons: 1) Better tires are available for 17's. 2) 17's will handle better and stop better, especially with better tires. 3) 17's are easier to clean. 4) with 17's you can upgrade your brakes down the road.

Also know that chrome wheels are a few pounds heavier PER WHEEL than painted or polished wheels.

Good luck
