15X8 on stock front supension

My question is if anyone has had 15x8 wheels with 4.5 backspacing installed in the front of a stock suspension with disc brakes without tire rubbing. I would like to stay with 15x8 and a good tire size in the front but if there are rubbing issues then I will get 15x7's.

Also what type of tire size was used or recommended in front and back.

Thank you in advance.

Re: 15X8 on stock front supension

I still have drum brakes,
and I have a 1" Addco front sway bar that looks to be bent slightly different than the stock piece...
I get the tiniest rub from the lip of my Weld ProStars on the sway bar. More like the wheel weight clamp part just barely hits it and I mean barely kisses it at full steer lock. Both sides.
Perhaps if I still had the stock size sway bar, it wouldn't hit it at all, but again, it just barely touches it.

15 x 8 with 4.5 bs.
235/60-15 tire.

Hope that helps........even tough I still have drums up front. Yes, its on my "to do" list of things to change.

Tires don't rub at all.....
