Cragar Wheels

I am looking to put these wheels on my 68 Camaro with front & rear disc brakes. These are the only two 17" variants they come in with a 5 x 4.75 bolt pattern. My question is do I get the 17x7's for the front and 17x8's for the rear, or get 17x8's all around? I was concerned with the 17x7's backspacing...

17X7

17X8

If you click the 2 links above the backspacing they come in show.

Re: Cragar Wheels

I have the 17's on my 68.

17X7 in front on 225's and 17x8 on 255's in the back. I would have to take a look to find the backspacing though

The 7-8 combo will work good on your car. The 4.25bs is good for the front. Give me a call if I can help in any way.

If it were my car,I'd run the 8's all-around with 235/45's or 245/45's in front and 255/45's in the rear.

Re: Cragar Wheels

I tried 235 on my 68 and they rubbed a bit. My buddy's 69 they worked perfect though.
Depends on the ride!
