Re: Need advice on what size 18 wheel will fit my camaro?

Do some searching as there is lot's of good info here regarding this subject.

Max rear size: 9x18 rims with 275/40/18 tires.
Max front size: 8x18 rims with 245/40/18 tires.

That rear size is very common around here and most including me run them with 5.25 backspace without any issues.
Fronts can be troublesome when pushing the max size limit. Some people get away with it some don't. The wheel and backspace (4.75-5.0) combo must be just right or you'll have rubbing issues. Also, dependents on what other mods/options you have (disc brakes, lowering springs, tubular a-arms, etc) and even stock cars are a little different from one car to another. 7x18 rims with 225/45/18 with 4.25 backspace will fit not problem as that's what I got. 8x18 rims with a 235 tire should be less troublesome as well...

I don't know a lot about the c5 setup but with a 18" rims most if not all kits should fit just fine.

18" is easily big enough diameter-wise unless it's a super funky design. You still need to check however - it's often the spoke design that doesn't allow for clearance. In other words, due to the C5 rotor's relatively shallow hat dimension, the caliper can hit the spokes. Go to www.kore3.com, download and print the fitment template.
