2nd opinions on wheel/tire combo.

I am about to pull the trigger on new wheels and tires. I have budgeted 3500 bucks. 18x8 245 40s'in the front and 18x9 275 40's in the rear.
I am leaning toward Rushforth Superspokes (polished lip brushed center) and Nitto NT05's.
This will blow my whole years car budget. I would like some second opinions and ideas before I pull the trigger.

rolled rear lips, no tubs

Re: 2nd opinions on wheel/tire combo.

Make sure you nail the backspacing, especially on the fronts as 245's have caused rubbing issues for several members on here. BTW, nice motor...

Re: 2nd opinions on wheel/tire combo.

Any suggestions where I should purchase? Nailing the backspace is the number one priority.

Nice engine yourself Matt. Hydraulic roller right?

I think the Rushforth Superspokes with the NT05's will look bada$$. Matt and I both ordered through Jon at Driverzinc. Best customer service out there and they will answer every question promptly and intelligently.

I asked Jon to quote a couple of days ago. Maybe I do not need a second quote....?

That is a bad a$$ wheel! I will leave the fitment to the pros, but it sounds like a doable combination.

Yes, very happy with my wheels from Driverzinc ... I shopped around and couldn't beat Jons deal. Yes on the hydro roller...

Re: 2nd opinions on wheel/tire combo.

I asked Jason to quote as well. He does live closer to me!
I have decided to go with Driverzinc. His tire and wheel combo sold me.
Deciding on a wheel is a little stressful. They will really transform the look of the car
.....hopefully for the better.

I have a set of Nt05's on "another" car and LOVE them, plus they just look awesome.
You will love them!

Re: 2nd opinions on wheel/tire combo.

Everything is ordered. Exactly as I quoted in the original post.
I guess we shelve this thread for 6-8 weeks till everything shows up.
I'm confident I'm in good hands with Jon and Jason.
