American Racing 200S wheels

Anyone out there running the 70's vintage 14" AR 200S wheels on a 69 with stock front disc brakes? The wheels seem to be some what thicker than the steel wheels and wonder if they will fit over the stock disc brake setup.

Re: American Racing 200S wheels

I have been them on my 68 since 73, My discs are off a 72 Monte Carlo, I did have to grind down the parting line on the left caliper, would rub on the wheel during hard braking.

Re: American Racing 200S wheels

Thanks ! That's what I was hoping since the early Monte has the same disc as the 69. Just wanted a little confirmation before doing the same conversion. I've found a 72 donor car just over in the SW corner of Nebraska about a 1/4 tank of gas from here.
