Re: 67 68 69 camaro wire hubcaps ??

I quickly checked my referance book and at at glance didn't see any. Closer inspection shows a simulated wire wheel for 69 SS/RS as option N95. The picture doesn't hardly llok like a wire wheel.

My 69 RS/SS 396 was originally equipped with them, but I cannot recall if they looked like the picture. It still had one on it when I bought it. It's stashed up in the attic somewhere. If I come across it, I'll try to take a picture.

Here's a scan from Ray Miller's 1981 book "Camaro! Chevy's Classy Chassis." The wire wheel covers on the red car don't even match the blue car, so I don't know which ones are the original N95 style.

Had origs on a '67... but don't think they looked quite like these. Will have to reference back, as Tom mentioned.

$200 ain't bad... might be able to cut him down to $150? Don't see many of these today, eh? If you like the look...go for it.

Here's a closer view of the two styles shown in the book, but I'm not sure if either one of these is an original N95 wheel cover. The wheel cover on the right (blue car) looks like it might be a match for the set that's for sale.

In the reference I'm using it doesn't have a photo of the wheel cover just a drawing. the cover on the blue car is what looks like the drawing. I'm not sure that the cover on the red car isn't the same cover with less painted black.

Here's a photo from a '67 Camaro on eBay currently - item #320713625657. Supposedly this is an unrestored car.

Re: 67 68 69 camaro wire hubcaps ??

My '67 originally came with a set of the 14 wire wheel covers that look like Jeff's photo.

Check for bent spokes (stainless steel, easily repaired) as the ladyfolks really like kissing curbs and those covers would rather bend than fly off.
