Rear wheel size question w disc brake

Hi!

I am sorry of this has been asked already but reading previous posts on combos I didn't find information on this so here I post my question :
1968 Camaro with CPP big brake kit supposed to
- no offset change front
- +3/8 offset (bringing wheel more outside) on the rear

I want to buy :
VWW V45
Front 2 x 17x8 backspace 4.75"
Rear 2 x 17x9,5 backspace 5.5"

On all the pictures posted there is no info on the brake set up and changes of hubs position in reference to original drum set up.

My question is :
Considering my 3/8 offset at the rear, will this rear wheel 9.5J and 5.5 BSP fit nicely with no rubbing with a 275 tire?

Thanks

Marc

Re: Rear wheel size question w disc brake

you may have to roll/trim the outer wheel well. you will need to maintain the 5.5" b/s. more b/s will run close to the inner wheel well. i run the cpp big brake with 18X10 @5.5 b/s with a 285x 35 tire with 2" drop springs. i had to trim the outer wheel well to eliminate rubbing in bump.

Re: Rear wheel size question w disc brake

Thanks for your answer. As my wheel is narrower and I will put a thinner tire it may be allright for me..
By the way are you glad of your CPP kit?
No lateral runout on rotors when it begins to wear? No vibration issues?

Regards
