pics of a 19 inch rear wheel

Hi, It's been suggested that a 19 inch rear wheel might give me the look that I'm after on a lowered 69 camaro. I just can't seem to find many pictures of a camaro that has them. I'm going for that ultra low pro-touring look, and I thought 18 front 20 rear would do it, but I didn't realize that the rear wheel would need to end up with a shorter sidewall than the front, which might look odd. I want this thing to be lowered minimum three inches in the rear. And I'm going to add another stupid question here. Do mini tubs just allow for a wider wheel or also a taller wheel? I don't care if I can't have ultra fat rubber on the back, but I sure wish I could get the top of the rim to tuck under the wheel opening and still have a driveable car.

Re: pics of a 19 inch rear wheel

My friend just did a mini-tub on his '69 and is going with 18" front and 19" rear. He purchased the Nitto NT05's in 275/35/18 Front and 335/30/19 Rear. With this combination the tire has similar size sidewalls and a nice front to rear rake. He is going with a 3" drop all around. He is a long way from getting it on the ground so no pics available, but the combination looks real nice. The mini-tub adds 2.75" width but not any diameter increase.

Thanks, that's what I was wondering about the min tub. My guess is that all the pictures I've found of extremely low cars are ones with air ride and there is no modification to make them driveable that low. They are only that low when parked.
