Reproduction Rally Wheel Trim Rings

Does anyone know where I could find a pair of 15x8 step lip trim rings that will fit Wheel Vintiques rally wheels. The ones that I have on the rear are the rounded Corvette style that don't match the front 15x7 step lip ones that I have on the front. I very much prefer the step lip style.
If I would have known that this was going to be such a PIA I would have just put 15x7 all the way around.
Can anybody HELP! PLEASE

Did you try Ricks? correct lip treatment for Camaro in sets or singles.

Re: Reproduction Rally Wheel Trim Rings

Thanks,Brian I looked at their website. The ones that they have in 15x8 are original GM and are $256.00 each. Wow. Those might be the ones that I want,it was kind of hard to tell by the pics. and description. I was kind of hoping to find some type of reproduction for less money. Thanks again for the reply.

Eric - you can trawl flea bait for a bargain every once and a while but in my opinion the reproductions made in China while looking like the originals after only one season loose their luster and ability to hold a shine. The base metal is such crap that they don't take re-plate well at all. You end up paying for what you wanted anyways and them some. You may find a decent set of originals at a swap or club sale.

Re: Reproduction Rally Wheel Trim Rings

NPD has this flat style trim ring. In their catalog it looks like what you describe as a step ring, but the link doesn't show a picture.

Here's a link to the catalog, it's on page 46.

enio45 turned me on to these http://www.heartbeatcitycamaro.com/s...each-67-68-69/

I did not get the trim rings but if they are nice as the center caps and priced the same I think you will be very happy.

Got them last week, $60 each and they are quality.

Re: Reproduction Rally Wheel Trim Rings

Thanks for the replies and links guys. Looks like I've got a couple of choices.
For the repros. in the square/step lip design they have one type only that will fit a 15x7 or 8 inch wheel,it is about 2 3/8" deep. That's what's on my front.
On the rear of my car they are almost 3" deep, but the round Corvette design.

So I can either get the narrower but better looking ones on the rear to match my fronts, or break loose with some serious cash and get the GM ones. I'm gonna have think about this one for a while I think.

Actually 3 choices:
Chinese crap ,which is what I have now I guess./ Wheel Vintiques
American repro.
Or GM $$$$$$$$

I've researched this quite a bit and found a few people on different forums complaining about the same issue. If you want the square/ stepped repro. ring for 8" wheels, they don't really make them wide enough.

Re: Reproduction Rally Wheel Trim Rings

Yeah, don't think you'll find 3" stepped/square rings, any where. No such thing. Most folks running 8"rear (4.5" bs), 7" front, use the same 15x7 shallower rings all the way around. Doesn't look bad, but I too would be interested if there was a deeper, square ring available.

Re: Reproduction Rally Wheel Trim Rings

I guess that's what I'll do too. I'm gettin' tired of the round rear, flat front combo. The round rings just don't look right on a Camaro.
