who sells extra long lug nuts?

I am considering purchasing a set of reproduction minilites for my 1969 z28. I love the look of them with really long lug nuts and flat center caps or with the center caps removed.

ive found a few sources for the wheels
http://www.royrezentesdesign.com/cli...g6/lt_iii.html
http://www.newstalgiawheel.com/wheel...ubcat3=1111102
http://psvintagewheels.com/products.html

but cant find any vendors who sell extra long lug nuts.

Who sells them?

Nice wheels. I suggest: McGard

McGard puts a lifetime warranty on them against anything.
You should the wleel vendor the hole size so you chose the right size.

thanks for the link, the length seems fine, but i would prefer if they were machined all the way down from the top

I don't think those lugs have a conical seat so they would only work with wheels designed for them.

I think Trans-Am style would be somenting like these...

Re: who sells extra long lug nuts?

Try pinging users MetalMan and Musclecarjohn as both have machined Trans Am style lug nuts for OE 7/16-20 studs and may have offered them for sale at one point.

If you are running 1/2-20 the long T/A style lug nuts can be purchased from a few sources online as it's a more common size.

Erick,
I did a run of these last year in both 7/16-20 and 1/2-20 they are a bit
pricey but they are 416 stainless and came out like a piece of jewelry,
hated to put a lug wrench on them. Musclecarjohn supplied me with a pattern and we ran them on a CNC chucker.

Metal Man,

Where can I get these with the shank ... Are they opened ended ... I need them for my rims when the car is not in race trim.
