M/T compared to Hosier?

I am getting new tires with my return the wife said.Which are better or is there any comparable difference between the Hoosier SR and the M/T SR 'street radial'.My rear tire is a 31.5-18.5-15.I am also getting the Billet Specialties Street Lites was thinking 17" tall but not sure of the money difference which may keep me at 15".Also not sure 17" will look good on my car.....Any help on this would be great I called a Hoosier dealer and the said Hoosier's are definatly a better tire go figure...Like the look of the M/T myself but want the best ride.....Thanks in advance....
