reproduction minilite questions

i am considering a set of reproduction 17 inch minilites, first i have a few questions/concerns, any answers would be appreciated.

#1 are ET III's http://www.etwheels.com/ac/ same as vintage wheel works v48's http://www.newstalgiawheel.com/wheel...ubcat3=1111102

#2 i also tried to contact via e-mail and phone PS engineering wheel works http://psvintagewheels.com/products.html and never got a reply, anyone deal with them and what was the service/price

#3 my z28 as the JL8 brakes all around, will the above wheels clear the larger calipers.

#4 any other information regarding my wheel choice would greatly be considered.

thanks TC members

Re: reproduction minilite questions

I can only answer #1. The Team Three wheels are different from the Vintage Wheel Works. The Team Three wheel is IMO closer in design to the original Minilites especially the curvature of the spokes at the center of the wheel looks much more like the originals.

i love the look and nothing beats the look of the originals, but they are limited to 15 inch, im looking at 17's so i can upgrdae to better handling tires.

i also have heard (not sure on this) that the large JL8 Corvette calipers will not clear the original minilites.

thanks and keep the replys and info coming

Don't tell Mark Donohue or Roger Penske.
