WILL 18x9.5 rub?

Can I get rear 18x9.5 with 5.5 BS and not rub? 275/40/18. Coy C-5. If I have to roll the fender, will I be able to use my wheel well moldings?
Thanks!

Those will be very close, but yes I think they'll rub, but they'll rub on the inside not the outside.

I have 275/40/18's on 18x9's with 5.25" BS and I would not want them to sit any deeper than they do. Even a 1/4" would be pushing it, which is what the 18x9.5 with 5.5 BS will do.

Before I replaced my rear leafs, one of the rear tires did rub on any decent suspension travel.

Can you get it with a little less backspace? I think 5 or 5.25 would probably work, or you could get a spacer with the 5.5 if they don't fit.

Like I said, mine don't have any room left to the inside, but I know some people have run 18.9.5's on their cars. How much of a drop do you have if any?

No drop. Can get 5" or 5/5" BS only.

I'd get the 5.5 BS and use a spacer as suggested. Buy a quality billet spacer if you go that route.

Re: WILL 18x9.5 rub?

No, you shouldn't have to roll your fender. The 5.5 BS will set the wheel in closer to the wheel well. It will either be very close or it will rub. If you use a spacer, it will push it back out towards the fender, but you should have plenty of room on the fender side.

275's will fit, especially with no drop. I'd install the wheels, the decide on how much of a spacer, if any, you need.

Re: WILL 18x9.5 rub?

I ordered the coy 18x8. They said 18x9.5 will rub and they won't take back.
