Black centers - Torq Thrust

Anybody familiar with these wheels? thoughts or opinions?? ( 15x8 w/4.5 backspace ) At $609 shipped, they are reasonably priced.

I like them, but I'm concerned about their quality. It says that they are NOT made by American Racing, just licensed by them(thinking Chinese?).

I think they would look good on my red Camaro.

Nice looking wheel. Period correct. Comes with lug nuts, socket, and free shipping.
Probably are off-shore made, might give American a call and see what they say/recommend.
A six inch wide wheel would look nicer up front than eight inch wide, IMO.

Somewhere I read that the "official" AR wheels are now made by the CH Ina Co.

I just installed a set of AR Torq Thrust II's and the boxes were labaled made in China.

Do your homework on 15x8 wheel fit and back spacing, especially on '69s...

Re: Black centers - Torq Thrust

Check out user ronsrims1 on Ebay. He is a licensed dealer for most major brands, including American Racing. I bought my Foose rims off him. Had them in 3 days shipped to my door in Canada. His prices seem about the best as well. The rims you have in the pic don't look bad, but I've seen them up close, and the finish isn't the greatest.

Here is one of his listings. Not that much more money for AR.

Yeah, I checked that.... 4.5 inches of backspacing should be good for all 4 corners on my 69.
