American Racing Torq Thrust

I'm thinking of buying a set of 15 inch Torq Thrusts for my 1969 Z28.
What is the ideal back spacing and rin width and radial tire size?
Will the traditional Straight spoke TTO series clear the caliper or do i need the Torq Thrust "D's"?
Thanks for your imput.

I'm running 15x7 TTOs on mine 215/65 BFGs on the front, 245/60 BFGs on the rear, no problems.

Running 15x7 TTD's on my 68 with 3.76BS. BFG TA's 225/60's up front and 245/60's in the back. I'm running Wilwood 4-piston's all the way around and no clearance issues.

I was torn between TTD and TTO's. I had opportunity to mount each on my car thanks to friends and while I like both equally, decided the TTD's looked slightly better. Gives her that perfect 60's muscle car look I always loved.

Re: American Racing Torq Thrust

I am running these sizes of TTII on my car and everything fits perfect. The tires are 26" in diamater. Your width and back spacing should be the same with a 15" wheel.

Front: 16 x 7 w/ 4" back space 225/50 tires
Rear: 16 x 8 w/ 4.75" back space 255/50 tires

Save yourself a good amount of money and buy the Eagle alloys. They look identicle to the TT2 and you can put American center caps on them and no one will know.

Mine are Cragar Eliminators:

15x8 rear 4.5 inch back space 255/60/15 Hotchkiss Rear 1 1/2 lowering leafs

15x7 front 4.25 inch back space 235/50/15 Hotchkiss small block front springs

I love how it looks, has that nice rake and the tires fit great. I have run this combo before on other Camaros and never had issues. I have not driven the 67 in the pictures with this combo.

Re: American Racing Torq Thrust

I just put some Chrome US mags on my 67 Camaro and I really like them. They have the straight spokes like the TTOs. They clear the calipers fine. 15x7 up front and 15x9 out back. 215/65/15 up front, 255/60/15 out back.
