Tire/Wheel Dust Covers

I have been trying to find some vinyl tire/wheel covers to put on my Camaro while its stored in the shop. The car cover does a great job keeping dust off the car but my wheels and tires always get real dusty. I've seen campers and motor homes sitting in peoples yards with tire/wheel cover on them but I've never seen any for sale for a car. Do any of you know where I can buy a set of these for my 15" wheels? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Tire/Wheel Dust Covers

You should be able to go into any auto parts store, or some larger ones like Pep Boys that sell lots of accessories and find 5 spare tire covers like those you'd see wrapped around a spare tire on an 80's S-10 Blazer or something.

Relax, all right? My dad's a TV repairman, got an ultimate set of tools. I can fix it.

I think they sell something to keep the wheels clean while your car is at the body shop too. Check places that sell body and fender supplies.

Re: Tire/Wheel Dust Covers

Camping World sells the Adco brand wheel covers in white and black vinyl with sizes up to full 22.5" bus wheels like I have. I use them on my coach when it sits in storage to protect the tires from UV's. Had the same set for 10 years, no issues with them. I did scrap the ball bungee cord that is supposed to hold them on and instead use 2.5lb fishing weights on each corner attached to the eyelets with S hooks. They never blow off even during storms.
