69 Camaro Front Wheels

I just purchased rally wheels and tires from someone. The fronts are P215/70/R15. The wheel is 15 x 7. I have stock suspension. They seem very close to the fender in front of the tire when I turn. Should this size wheel and tire be ok?

Frank...
I have a 68 and run 8" wheels and 225-60-15 tires and they don't rub. I think because you have a 70 series tire which is taller..its close to the front area of the fender. A 69 owner can confirm this...

Re: 69 Camaro Front Wheels

Kevin is right about the tire height. I am running a 225/60/15 on a 7 inch rally with 4.25 backspace with no probs. Also have a 2" drop on this car (69)You might want to check your backspace also.
