Post your wheels!

Hey everyone, I'm looking for that set of wheels to set of my 68 once we get to that point in the build. Post some pics of your rides and wheels. Throw up your specs to!! Any advice will be awsome, color combo when we get it painted is going to be a 2-toned tru blue on top and flat black on bottom.

Re: Post your wheels!

Im running 18/9.5 and 18/8 Boss 338.. Had 1/4" machined off the rear hub mating surface to move the wheels inward. They were a little too close to the outer wheel well lip with the car being lowered. Im in the process of changing the subframe so this is the best pic I have.

Here is another members ride "better pic" that shows the style of wheel better.

69 Z/28, red/white stripe, black houndstoot with docs.

Re: Post your wheels!

Really depends on what you plan to do with your 68. I chose the retro look and stuck with 15x7 3.76 BS American Racing Torq-Thrust D's with 225/60 up front and 245/60 in back. I simply like the old school look of a tall sidewall on a muscle car.

I really like the viper srt10 wheels. And it's going to be a show/street/drag car lol and I think we're going 18-19s in the front with a small lip and 20s in the back that are deeper dish

Re: Post your wheels!

My 67 has 15 inch Crager Eliminators.

15x8 rear 8.5 inch back space 255/60/15 BFG's

15x7 front 4.25 inch back space 235/60/15 BFG's

Hotchkiss rear leafs and front coils, small block.

Color is 2010 Camaro inferno orange.

Played around with a two tone upper and lower, a stripe etc but stayed solid color with a gloss black tail panel. Will have gloss rockers at some point but done in a wrap to protect from rock/stone chips.
