225 60 R15's all around ? Pics?

Currently running 225 60 15's up front and 255 60 15' s out back, both on 8" rally's. Looking to go 225 60 15's all around so I can tuck the rear wheels in the rear wheel well and go for the symmetrical look. Don't want to bother with rolling any body panels to get this to work in the rear. The 255's look good, but rub. I like the road race look and want to run the same size all around. Running QA 1 coil overs up front and will do the same to the rear, so I gotta work out the tire issue before I set it any lower with the new shocks. Anyone have any pics of their 69 with 225 60 15's ?

Thanks

Mike

With the right offset on your wheels, they should tuck fine.
235\60-15's don't rub, but that depends on the wheel offset.

what offset is recommended?

This car came with the current wheel setup. When measuring the offset (roughly) I measured from trim ring to wheel hub. The rears are about a full inch offset compared to the front wheels. They rub the outer fender when I run the air shocks at lower pressure. when I run more pressure it stops ( replacing these for coil overs) and looking to go stock ride height.

Thanks,

Mike

Using 245x60x15 all round, no issues with factory set up and YH wheels except for a slight rub on the headlamp motor plastic covers in front during a turn in and bump.

I have 4-inch offset 15X8 Foose wheels. 215/65/15 on the front, 235/60/15 on the back. Both tires have virtually the same outside diameter. Both fit nicely in the wheelwells, and no rub issues whatsoever.

Here's one way to measure your wheels offset: http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/tech/...jsp?techid=101
Here is another: http://www.chevellestuff.com/tech/wheel_offset.htm
