Post Tire Fitment

So I'm in the early stages of deciding what wheel and tire I should put on the 68. One option for me would be to go with the 15x7 Rally wheel with P225/60R15 BF Goodrich T/A's front and rear. With a 4 1/4" backspacing would that width work on the front? The tire would be about 8.7" wide.

Re: Tire Fittment

Dennis posted a wheel offset chart in another thread. What you're looking for is a 6mm positive offset to center the wheel. For a 15x7 wheel, that's 4 1/4" backspacing, so you should be good to go.

Re: Tire Fitment

Yep, very common choice for the front. No problem. I went with 215/65, just a hair taller and narrower, IIRC...Might not offer that size anymore ?
