Question Chip Foose Monterey 17" on Camaro 1967 question

Hi there,

as this is my first post I would like to introduce myself. My name is Zdenek and I come from Czech Republic. As I admire muscle US cars I have just started to renovate my "dream" car Camaro 1967 RS 396cui with 4 speed manual. It is a bit tricky though as there are only 3 Camaros in the Czech Republic (mine, Camaro 67 6V and Camaro 302cui).

I wanted to ask if anyone has got a photo of Camaro 1st gen. with wheels Monterey (Chip Foose) 17"? And would you buy these or you would prefer cheaper 17" Legend (Chip Foose)?

And my other question is. Does anybody know why are Monterey wheels so expensive (650$/each) comparing to Legend (259$/each).

Thanks Z.

Congratulations on getting your car! Can't help you on the cost question. Did a google image search for those wheels on a First gen but only saw one grainy, useless pic. Best bet would be to try one of the on line wheel vendors that have a visual tool to put a rim on a car:

1967 350, Hurst TKO 600 5 speed, 12 bolt 3:55 posi, RS added

Legends are the Foose version of the Torque thrust. They are chrome wheels and are one of the lower cost wheels made by Foose Wheels. The Monterey are a higher quality polished wheel, I think they may be discontinued...
