Ordered my new wheels

Well I'm pumped, after a LOT of consideration I chose these newly released 18" American racing Torq thrust VN425 SL wheels, 18X9 rear, 18X8 fronts

I'll post some pics when I get them on the Hugger orange 69' with a 3" drop

Cheers
Steve

These look great and are as common these days as the rallys were!

Thanks guys !! Yup, cant wait ...
So I heard a rumor that AA bought up a number of wheel companies and I'm wondering if these are an exact replica of the JYD's ??

Re: Ordered my new wheels

I remember your thread about these wheels. The important thing is to be happy with your decision. I guess the only thing I left out of my comments was these huge wheels were invented due to the large sizer of the brakes. I think they look great when the brakes fill up the wheel as in the post above. I think they look not as great with stock size calipers as I see some foreign cars running around with 28" wheels and brakes made for 13 inch wheels. Post some pics when done beautiful wheels, watch out for pot holes.

Re: Ordered my new wheels

Yes absolutely agree, and as well in my opinion 18'' usually look better on dropped/lowered cars. Yes, I've got disc brakes on all 4 corners, and will post some pics when they're in

Re: Ordered my new wheels

Yes, similar to mine, classic 5 spoke always looks good. Something is missing tho, what is it...oh yeah, they should be black : )
